Our Approach

You know your path.

My approach to ADHD support is that your pathway to living with ADHD is yours to find, my role is to help you find it

01 — Bespoke

Built around you

Bespoke packages of training and support, using a therapeutic, person-centred approach — never one-size-fits-all.

02 — Agreed Together

Co-designed pathway

Your sessions and pathway are agreed between you and Ryan — your coordinator — so the work always reflects what matters most to you.

03 — Whole-Life

All of it counts

Emotional regulation, sleep, coping mechanisms, relationships, finances — and the strengths your ADHD gives you that you want to put into action.

Lived experience, professional insight.

"I'm a trainee person-centred therapist with lived experience of ADHD. My approach is formed through Lived and Professional Experience. ADHD Pathways aim to be practical — helping people better understand how their brain works and finding strategies that support daily life."

ADHD support questions, answered

Common questions about ADHD coaching, counselling and support in Burnley, Padiham and across East Lancashire.

What is ADHD Pathways?

+

ADHD Pathways is warm, practical ADHD support and coaching run by Ryan Kilbride, a trainee person-centred therapist with lived experience of ADHD. Sessions are based in Burnley and Padiham, and online sessions may be possible depending on where you live — Ryan will confirm this when you register your interest.

Is this ADHD coaching or ADHD counselling?

+

It sits between the two. Sessions blend practical ADHD coaching — routines, organisation, motivation, money and time — with a person-centred counselling approach, so the emotional side is held alongside the practical side.

Do you offer ADHD support near me in Burnley or East Lancashire?

+

Yes. In-person sessions are offered in Burnley and Padiham, and people travel in from Brierfield, Nelson, Colne, Hapton, Clitheroe and Accrington. Online sessions may be possible in some areas — just ask when you get in touch.

Do you diagnose ADHD or advise on medication?

+

No. Ryan is not a medical practitioner: ADHD Pathways does not carry out assessments, give diagnoses, or advise on medication — and it wouldn't be right for him to guide anyone on those decisions either. Your GP or a medical professional is the person for that.

Is there an ADHD Pathways app?

+

Yes. Clients get an installable app for their phone where they can see their session summary, the two or three small things to try before the next session, and complete quick ADHD check-ins.

When can I book, and is it free?

+

Ryan isn't taking clients just yet — an opening date will be confirmed in time. Sessions are a paid service and places are application-based, so join the waiting list and you'll hear as soon as places open.
