Complaints Procedure

If something about our service hasn't felt right, please tell us. Feedback — including uncomfortable feedback — helps us improve.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Data controller: Ryan Kilbride, trading as ADHD Pathways (a self-employed sole trader based in Burnley, Lancashire). Contact: hello@adhdpathways.org.

1. Talk to Ryan first

Where you feel able, the quickest route is to raise the concern directly with Ryan — either at the start of a session or by emailing hello@adhdpathways.org. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

2. Formal complaint

If a conversation hasn't resolved things — or you'd rather not have that conversation — please put your complaint in writing to the same email address, marked "Complaint". Include:

  • What happened and when
  • How it affected you
  • What you'd like to happen next

3. What to expect

  • We'll acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days.
  • We'll aim to respond in full within 21 working days. If we need longer, we'll tell you why.
  • You are welcome to bring a supporter to any meeting about your complaint.

4. Escalation

If you remain unhappy after our response, you can escalate to Ryan's professional body (details provided on request once registration is confirmed). For data-related concerns, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
